Collages for the VALOA! group exhibition

One more post about the collages, then I'm moving back to drawings for a while.

Finished 13 collages for the VALOA! - group exhibition at Kuusankoskitalon Galleria, and now they are hanging on the gallery wall and I can concentrate on other things.

It feels like it has been forever since I last drew something for myself (ok, it's been maybe one and a half months), I've been doing just some commissioned jobs, not at all the same thing.

But finally today I had some time, so I picked up the pencils and poured my thoughts on the paper. And I very much like the positive tone my thoughts have nowadays.

Some collages are coming up nicely.
Downside is that my living room looks like... well, some might say like after a bomb but I think it's more like a disorganized treasure cove.

Tree globe

I'm going to do a couple of collages for a coming group exhibition and this was a warm up piece I did yesterday night when I dragged all the boxes full of roots and branches and random junk out of storage and spread everything on my living room floor.
